Chiron travels to Miami and visits Kevin at his workplace, a diner. When his attempts to probe Chiron about his life result in silence, Kevin tells him he has had a child with an ex-girlfriend and, although the relationship ended, he is fulfilled by his role as a father. Seize The Night opens with a terrible logic flaw. We learn that in the town of Moonlight Bay, a 5 year old boy has disappeared. Christopher Snow, the protagonist, is friends with the boy's mother; they were lovers. He admires her for her hard work and strife to make ends meet and support her son. He assures her of his friendship and compassion. I had so many favorite scenes in Moonlight - and since the film is divided into three parts, it's quite a number - so I'll just start sharing: The best thing about this novel was that we got a lot more of Bobby and a lot more of Bobby and Chris. Bromances are my favorite and this one was great. There closeness comes through really well here, building on what we had already seen in Fear Nothing. And like any good Koontz novel, there is excellent humor. I started writing poems and the beginnings of novels by the age of seven or eight, but I was forty before I thought about writing for publication. We re-explore our main characters XP over and over again which is no fun if you have already read the first book. For some reason there are a lot of descriptions about nothing. The main character is a dreamer and constantly floats of in his own mind which meant the book just didn't flow at all.
