To note, I did do some extra rounds of making sure the head sculpt was right, the POTP (power of the primes) toy had this soul patch sculpted on its chin which always confused me. Accessories; he comes with his gun and the Parrot. Honestly, I was expecting the parrot to be bigger and it's made of soft rubber. Generations WFC Optimus and Megatron were two of the best deluxe molds not only of their time but ever. It would be nice to see those designs as voyagers. I'd be less interested though if they did the FoC deluxe Optimus Prime design instead. I don't like that design quite as much. The figure has several minor variants. The initial releases of the toy have his thighs, headlamps and wheel hubs cast in silver plastic that matches his torso rather than the usual light gray, which is the vastly more common coloration. Later releases of the light-gray version altered his right arm to add a "Hasbro" stamp to it (removing half the "mesh" pattern). The French release of the toy by Ceji, aside from using the "half-mesh" arm variant, has a slightly different headsculpt with narrower eyes, different wheel-pins with four "rivets", plus slightly different shades of blue and gray plastic.If Sparkplug suggested that the Autobots remain in their vehicle modes, he would concoct a plan where the Autobots would help evacuate the entire town in their vehicle modes. I had mentioned in the livestream, we made sure to put PVC, a rigid and flexible plastic like rubber, for the dune buggies tires. As a kid, I was absolutely fascinated with the way the rubber tires on the G1 figure’s rolled so well and it was cemented in my brain as a must for this figure. It also opened up the possibility to get the 5mm posted bird in the mold which, obviously, brought a huge smile to my face. It just really highlighted the light hearted nature loving character BeachComber is. Much like the Power of the Primes Beachcomber before him, this figure is largely based on the G1 animation model so it features a lot of details from that design. They include: Head: Beachcomber features a unique head design that includes a large visor over his nose and mouth and a “helmet” that features curved sections on either side of his cheeks.Overall, Beachcomber looks fantastic! He also now has a slightly chunky look that works for the character. Next, after Megatron kidnapped Perceptor and then voluntarily let him go, Beachcomber joined the entire Autobot team in riding out a few miles from the base to retrieve their friend. Why several dozen Autobots were needed for such a simple mission... is unknown.
